Hardly any other product stands for the name SCHOEPS like the active tube RC. The RC has been a true "Original" in ProAudio history since its introduction in the late 1970's. Its timeless elegance is more than ever the standard on the concert stage.
Active tubes are inserted between the MK capsule and the microphone amplifier. This makes it possible to place microphones inconspicuously in the orchestra without impairing the view.
At the head end of the RC is a joint that allows the capsule to be oriented between 0° and 120°. At the foot end of the RC there is a screw thread onto which the microphone amplifier (eg CMC 6) is screwed.
The RC is available in the standard lengths of 350, 700 and 1200 mm or in special lengths for an additional charge.
All the parts required for a tripod assembly are included in an “RC Set” that is also available: MK capsule, RC, STR stand rod, BF 250 floor stand and CMC 6 microphone amplifier.
